Product history: The Panzerfaust was a German anti-tank weapon developed during World War II to give infantry a simple but powerful way to defeat armoured vehicles. It was a single-use, shoulder-fired launcher equipped with a large hollow-charge warhead capable of penetrating thick armour at short range. Cheap to manufacture and easy to operate, it required minimal training and was widely issued to regular troops and militia units. Although limited in range and accuracy, the Panzerfaust proved devastating in urban and close combat.
