1/16 - M1A1 US Anti Tank Mines

Product history: The M1A1 anti-tank mine was an American pressure-activated landmine used during World War II to disable or destroy enemy armoured vehicles. Featuring a circular steel casing filled with high explosive, it detonated when sufficient weight was applied, damaging tracks, wheels, or the underside of vehicles. The M1A1 was an improved version of the earlier M1 mine, offering greater reliability and ease of production. It was commonly buried along roads, in fields, and within defensive minefields. Simple, effective, and widely deployed, the M1A1 played an important role in Allied anti-armour defence operations.
