1/16 US WW2 Jerry Cans

Product history: World War II U.S. jerry cans were robust steel fuel containers adopted by the United States Army after studying the superior German design. Holding five U.S. gallons, they featured pressed steel construction, recessed welds, and a three-handle design that allowed single or team carrying. An airtight cam-lock cap with an internal gasket prevented leaks and fuel evaporation, even in extreme climates. Seamless internal coatings reduced corrosion, making the cans suitable for petrol, diesel, or water. Mass-produced and clearly stencilled, U.S. jerry cans became essential to Allied mobility and remain the basis for modern military fuel containers.
