Product history: The Panzerschreck was a German anti-tank rocket launcher developed during World War II, inspired by the American Bazooka. Introduced in 1943, it fired a powerful 88 mm rocket capable of penetrating Allied tank armour. Early versions exposed the operator to dangerous backblast, leading to the addition of a protective shield in later models. Widely used on both Eastern and Western fronts, the Panzerschreck was effective against medium and heavy tanks. Its portability and destructive power made it a feared infantry weapon, though it required training and careful handling in combat situations.
