1/16 - British 2 Gallon Cans

Product history: The British 2-gallon early water can with indented “W” and “P” markings was a small wartime container used for carrying drinking water, especially with vehicles and field units. The indented letters helped identify its contents and ownership or pattern, reducing confusion with petrol cans. Its smaller size made it easier to carry, pour, and store than larger 4-gallon containers, while still holding enough water for short-term use. These cans were part of Britain’s early-war supply equipment before jerrycan-style water containers became more common. Simple, compact, and clearly marked, they remain collectible examples of British WWII field gear.
